Now through September 30, 2021 we will be participating in a donation campaign that is very important personally and also as a way to promote awareness and working towards reconciliation efforts.
In honour of Indian Residential School Survivors and those that never made it home, Orange Shirt Day held every September 30th, and to promote the Rights of Indigenous Children in Canada.
We are so thankful to be in a position to be able to put 100% of the profit of these 2 pairs of earrings towards donation to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society and to the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society.
In solidarity with Indigenous people and working towards healing intergenerational trauma within families, communities and Canada as we all work towards reconciliation efforts and action in our own ways, as a small Indigenous business, supporting meaningful initiatives like this has been something we have been wanting to do for a very long time!
We will be keeping track of the proceeds for donation and will periodically update on Instagram with a final tally on September 30, 2021.
